IVF cost in Mexico: package prices can be radically different products.
Mexico is a perfect example of why headline price comparisons fail. Current clinics publish packages that differ not only in price but in whether medication, ICSI, freezing, transfer and genetic testing are bundled.

These figures are shown with their scope. They are not a national average and they are not a quote for you.
Publishes IVF starting at $9,000 and says the package includes a first embryo transfer, ovarian-stimulation medicine and medical consultations, among other items.
Publishes one IVF cycle from $10,200. Its package page lists stimulation medication, monitoring, retrieval, first transfer, ICSI/PICSI, one year of embryo freezing and PGD analysis for up to four embryos.
Publishes IVF with fresh or deferred transfer including stimulation medication, monitoring, retrieval, ICSI, embryo evaluation, transfer or vitrification + first transfer within six months, and first-year maintenance.
Why this matters
The higher-priced package is not automatically more expensive once scope is normalized. Mexico currently has packages where a higher headline includes services that another clinic may bill separately.
NORMALIZE THE QUOTE
Line items to verify before comparing totals.
PGT / PGD
Nido bundles limited genetic analysis into its published package; many other packages do not. That alone can make a large headline-price difference.
Medication
Some current Mexico packages include ovarian-stimulation medication. Never add a generic medication estimate without checking the clinic’s scope first.
Freezing + storage
Ask whether “freezing” means the vitrification procedure, a specific number of straws/embryos, and how much storage time is included.
Transfer
Confirm whether the quoted cycle includes the first transfer and whether it is fresh, frozen, or either.
USE THE SAME GRID EVERY TIME
Base treatment → meds → lab → freezing → transfer → travel.
Once two clinics are described using the same categories, the total starts becoming meaningful. Until then, “cheaper” may simply mean “more costs are still outside the box.”
