These figures are shown with their scope. They are not a national average and they are not a quote for you.
Publishes IVF/ICSI at €3,860. The package includes follow-ups/ultrasounds in Greece, egg collection with sedation, ICSI, blastocyst culture and first transfer. Medication, embryo cryopreservation/storage and later FET are separate.
Published price for a subsequent frozen embryo transfer.
Why this matters
For Greece, a fair comparison should usually separate the stimulation/retrieval cycle from medication, cryopreservation/storage and any later frozen transfer.
NORMALIZE THE QUOTE
Line items to verify before comparing totals.
Medication
Both Serum and Newlife explicitly leave stimulation medication outside the headline IVF/ICSI price.
Cryopreservation
Newlife publishes separate cryopreservation bands based on the number of straws and a storage fee from year two onward.
Later transfers
A first transfer may be included while a later FET is not. Newlife currently lists subsequent FET at €1,480.
PGT
PGT availability and pricing need case-specific confirmation. Greek rules can also affect when genetic testing is permitted, so do not treat it as a routine checkbox based only on price.
USE THE SAME GRID EVERY TIME
Base treatment → meds → lab → freezing → transfer → travel.
Once two clinics are described using the same categories, the total starts becoming meaningful. Until then, “cheaper” may simply mean “more costs are still outside the box.”
