Questions to ask when looking at a rate
- What exact outcome is being reported: pregnancy, live birth, per retrieval, per transfer, or another measure?
- What age group or patient population does it describe?
- Does the clinic treat unusually complex cases?
- How recent is the reporting year?
- Is the number from a regulator/public dataset or clinic marketing?
What IVFQuote does with success rates
Nothing magical. IVFQuote should not create a proprietary “best clinic” score from outcome numbers. The more defensible role is to point users to source data, explain the limitations, and keep the quote-comparison product focused on transparent costs and inclusions.
